A second Flyway Brewing Co. beer has landed in Memphis.
Honeybird Blonde Ale, 4.9% ABV, is a nice, crisp beer that is brewed with all-natural honey from Arkansas.
The beer debuted last week on draft in the taproom at High Cotton Brewing Co., which is transforming into a Flyway brewery, taproom and restaurant.
Starting today, Wednesday, June 12, Honeybird is also available on draft at the Rendezvous in Downtown Memphis.
In May, Bluewing Blueberry Wheat Ale, the flagship beer of the Little Rock-based Flyway, was the first Flyway beer to go on sale in Memphis in High Cotton’s taproom. Bluewing was also added on draft at the Downtown location of the Slider Inn earlier this week.
These batches of Bluewing and Honeybird that are now available in Memphis were both brewed here by the High Cotton brewing team.
Meanwhile, Flyway will be announcing additional locations for Memphis-area draft sales of Flyway beers. And while cans of Flyway beers are not yet available in Memphis, they’re likely coming soon.
