Memphis craft breweries had 25 different beers that won 2024 Untappd Community Awards, based on ratings from user check-ins.
Meddlesome Brewing Co. (6 medals), Wiseacre Brewing Co. (5 medals) and Soul & Brewery (4 medals) were the top Memphis winners in the second annual Untappd Community Awards, which were announced this week.
Other Memphis 2024 winners were Grind City Brewing Co. (2 medals), Hampline Brewing Co. (2 medals), MFS Brewing Co. (2 medals), Beale St. Brewing Co. (1 medal), High Cotton Brewing Co. (1 medal) and Memphis Made Brewing Co. (1 medal).
Meddlesome was the top Memphis winner for a second year in a row. Meanwhile, Meddlesome and MFS Brewing (Memphis Filling Station) were the only Tennessee gold medal winners for 2024.
In the United States, 3,444 breweries brewed a beer that won 2024 Untappd Community Awards in at least one style at the national or state level. Globally, 7,033 breweries won awards for 25,462 of the world’s top-rated beers.
Beers were ranked according to their average rating from check-ins with ratings in the calendar year.
To qualify, beers had to receive a minimum of 50 ratings from unique Untappd users in 2024. Award winners were selected for substyles in all geographies in which at least three products in the substyle qualified with 50 unique ratings.
