‘Run the Wolf’ beer from Memphis Made to raise funds for Wolf River Conservancy

Memphis Made Brewing Co. is helping to raise funds for the Wolf River Conservancy with a limited-edition “Run The Wolf”-branded beer.

Runners participating in the Wolf River 5K on Saturday, Jan. 18, will receive the branded beer after the race. The race starts at the Shady Grove Trailhead off Humphreys Boulevard at 8 a.m. that day.

Memphis Made is also hosting a race registration party at its Edge District taproom on Friday, Jan. 10, from 5-8 p.m. There will be a limited amount of Run the Wolf cans for sale, and $1 of every beer sold that day will go to the Wolf River Conservancy.

The Run the Wolf beer is a 5.1%-ABV Amber Ale. (Hint, hint: those specs match up exactly with Memphis Made’s flagship Fireside Amber Ale.)

The non-profit Wolf River Conservancy is dedicated to protecting and enhancing the Wolf River and its watershed as a sustainable natural resource.
