Soul & Spirits Brewery has brought back Private #Pils for a second year, and for the first time, the beer is available in cans.
Private #Pils, 4.7% ABV, is Soul & Spirits’ fall seasonal pilsner.
The brewery describes this German-style beer as “extremely crisp and easy drinking with a perfectly balanced bitterness. Fresh herbal and floral aromatics on the nose while a subtle malt backbone lingers with the bitterness.”
Soul & Spirits is offering the beer both on draft and in six-packs of 12-ounce cans. It’s only the fourth beer to be made available in six-packs, joining year-round beers Bring it Home Lager and Hoochie Coochie IPA, as well as recent Oktoberfest seasonal, Danke.
The six-packs are available now to go in Soul & Spirits’ taproom, 845 N Main, and you’ll see them soon on a limited basis at better beer stores around Memphis.
Private #Pils gets its name from William Bell and Judy Clay’s Stax classic, “Private Number.”
