Tennessee breweries take home 8 medals at GABF in Denver

Tennessee craft breweries were awarded eight medals, including four gold, at the 2023 Great American Beer Festival (GABF) today in Denver.

The competition, sponsored by the Brewers Association, is the nation’s largest professional beer competition. This year, there were 303 medals awarded to 263 breweries, spanning 99 beer categories.

While no Memphis-based breweries won today, breweries in Nashville, Hendersonville, Knoxville and Chattanooga took home awards.

Both Soul & Spirits Brewery and Wiseacre Brewing Co. from Memphis served beers at the festival this weekend.
