Memphis craft breweries Grind City Brewing Co. and Urban Consequence Brewing Co. teamed up over the summer to brew two beers, a West Coast IPA and a lager.

Those beers will be available starting today, Friday, Sept. 22, in both brewery’s taprooms.

And the beers will be very limited — less than a barrel’s worth of each beer will be available at each location.

“Pineapple Under the Sea,” 5.7% ABV, is the West Coast IPA. Its pineapple twist comes from being dry hopped with Vic Secret and El Dorado hops.

Limelight, 5.3% ABV, is a lager hopped with citrusy Motueka hops, which come from New Zealand.

The beers were originally made for the Memphis Collaborative Beerfest, which was postponed to 2024.

Grind City is located at 76 Waterworks Ave., north of Downtown. Urban Consequence is in Midtown at 239 Cooper.
