Ryan Allen at Soul and Spirits in Downtown Memphis brews great IPAs.
His latest, I Can’t Stand Champagne, is a 6.5% ABV “Brut Cold IPA.”
The beer was fermented with a lager yeast, instead of an ale yeast, and has a clean, dry champagne feel. But it’s layered with plenty of hop aromas and flavors.
Citrusy and refreshing, I Can’t Stand Champagne does not disappoint.
