The 2024 Memphis Chicken & Beer Festival is happening this weekend on Saturday, Aug. 10, on the field at the Liberty Bowl.
The event runs from 6 to 10 p.m.
The 6th annual edition of the event, described as a “beer fest with a chicken twist,” will benefit Merge Memphis, which provides food, clothing and shelter to women in need.
Memphis breweries, inducing Beale St. Brewing Co., Meddlesome Brewing Co., Memphis Made Brewing Co., and Soul & Spirits Brewery, will be pouring beers at the event, alongside some big national brands. More than 90 different beverages will be available to sample.
Food will be available for purchase, and restaurants will have a special chicken dish available as a snack-sized portion for $2 to $5, with regular menu items available as well.
General admission tickets are $50.87 total, with taxes and fees, and include a souvenir glass and unlimited samples. Designated driver tickets are also available.
The event will feature live music from Twin Soul, Marcus Malone Band, and DJ Mic Tee.
