Memphis Made Brewing Co. is consolidating all operations at its Downtown location, 435 Madison, where a new taproom opens on Saturday, July 20.
But not before people get a chance to say goodbye to the Midtown original.
Memphis Made is throwing a closing party on Saturday, July 13, from 1 to 10 p.m., to toast its first brewery and taproom at 768 S. Cooper.
The party will feature live music from Jeff Hulett (2-3 p.m.), San Salida (3:30-4:30 p.m.) and Kitty Dearing & the Dagnabbits (5-6:30 p.m.). That evening will also be the last Draughts & Laughs Comedy Show (7:30 p.m.) at the Midtown taproom. Food trucks will include Good Groceries and Mempops.
Memphis Made became just the fourth craft brewery in Memphis when it opened in the Cooper-Young neighborhood in 2013.
Memphis Made announced in June that it’s consolidating all its operations Downtown at its new Edge District facility, where the brewery started making beer early last year.
The bigger brewing space Downtown has already allowed the company to expand distribution across Tennessee, Missouri, and North Mississippi.
