Memphis’ Wiseacre Brewing Co. and its in-house pizza joint, Little Bettie, are about to be the newest stars of the Food Network.
Wiseacre and Little Bettie will be featured on Guy Fieri’s “Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives” on Friday, Jan. 12, at 8 p.m. CST.
Wiseacre is hosting a watch party at its Downtown taproom, 398 S B.B. King Blvd., when the show airs.
The episode, titled Hearty Handfuls, was filmed in September. Fieri, host of the long-running series, visited Wiseacre and other local food and drink spots on his visit to Memphis.
At Wiseacre, the Mayor of Flavortown chatted with Little Bettie chef Jared Riddle about Little Bettie’s New Haven-style pizza, with a focus on the Thud Butt Pizza, a pie made with mortadella, ricotta cream, black pepper honey, pistachios and stracciatella cheese.
