Memphis’ Northwestern Mutual office is sponsoring a fun event next week featuring live music, craft beers and more, all to benefit a great cause.
The second annual Brews & Blues on Thursday, Oct. 26, from 6-10 p.m., will benefit Alex’s Lemonade Stand. The event will be held at Ghost River Brewing Co.’s Beale Street taproom, 341 Beale, in Downtown Memphis.
Tickets for the event are $125 and can be purchased online via Eventbrite.
Attendees will have an open bar and food catered by New Wing Order. In addition, the event will feature a silent auction, raffles, giveaways and live music from the ThreeWord Trio.
The silent auction will include more than two dozen items, including autographed memorabilia, gift cards, brewery merch, Memphis Grizzlies floor tickets, Orpheum tickets, and more.
All proceeds from the event will benefit Alex’s Lemonade Stand, a national 501(c) non-profit organization whose mission is “to change the lives of children with cancer through funding impactful research, raising awareness, supporting families and empowering everyone to help cure childhood cancer.” Northwestern Mutual has been a partner to Alex’s Lemonade Stand since 2012 and has helped raise more than $20 million for the organization.
