Crosstown Brewing staff pitch in on Pizza Party Pale Ale

The staff pizza party is one of the most common celebrations in the workplace.

So when the staff of Crosstown Brewing Co. recently came together for a group activity — making a new beer as a team — they named it the Pizza Party Pale Ale.

Servers, sales reps, brewers, and packaging and warehouse workers all helped to design the beer’s recipe, brew it, and package it.

Pizza Party Pale Ale, 4.8% ABV, features piny, resinous hops, with ginger and lemongrass added for some extra zip.

The limited-release beer goes on sale in Crosstown’s Midtown taproom starting Friday, Oct. 6. It will be available on draft and in four-packs of 16-ounce cans to go.

About a week later, Pizza Party Pale Ale should be available on a small scale in the Memphis market.
