Crosstown Brewing Co. is bringing back Hatch Me Outside, a blonde ale infused with real Hatch chile peppers.
The beer, 5.2% ABV, will make its return to Crosstown’s taproom on Friday, Sept. 8, for a limited time.
Crosstown gets fresh peppers from New Mexico, which are then roasted at the brewery to add some smoky flavors. The peppers are added to the base blonde ale in the brite tank just before the beer is kegged and canned.
The result is a spicy beer, but not one that’s too hot.
Hatch Me Outside will be available on draft and in six-packs of cans to go at the taproom, 1264 Concourse Ave. Some retailers will also be offering the beer, though quantities will be limited.
