Hook Point Brewing Co. and Cooper House Project have teamed up to make two small-batch beers this summer.
The first one, Joint Forces Summer Ale, made its debut on Friday at Hook Point’s Ready Room taproom in East Memphis.
The 5.5%-ABV beer boasts of citrus and floral flavors, along with lightly toasted bread. It finishes bone dry, with a pop of rosemary, according to Hook Point’s description of the beer.
The beer was originally brewed for the Memphis Collaborative Beerfest, which was supposed to happen this weekend.
The beer is very limited. It’s available only at the Ready Room this weekend, and then at Hook Point’s Collierville brewery next weekend.
The second collaboration beer is expected to be available in a few weeks at Cooper House.
