Two Memphis breweries will be serving beers in September at the 2023 Great American Beer Festival (GABF) in Denver, according to the official list of breweries released today.
Soul & Spirits Brewery and Wiseacre Brewing Co., which both attended the 2022 festival, will be representing the Bluff City again in 2023.
Other Tennessee breweries on the list include Blackstone Brewing Co. and Nashville Brewing Co.
GABF is hosted by the Brewers Association, the trade organization representing small and independent craft brewers. The event will be held at the Colorado Convention Center on Sept. 21-23.
In 2022, attendance at GABF was 40,000, with 500 breweries serving 2,000 different beers.
In addition to the beer sampling sessions, GABF hosts a large competition with beers judged by professional panels. GABF medals are among the most coveted in the industry. Last year, 2,154 breweries competed in 98 categories.
