Grind City Brewing Co. has brought back its seasonal Oktoberfest beer, and for the first time, it’s getting released in cans.
The fall favorite, brewed with Munich and Vienna malts, debuts today, Wednesday, Aug. 16, in Grind City’s taproom. The beer will be available on draft — and in 16-oz. cans — in Memphis area bars, restaurants, and stores starting this week.
“We’ve been brewing and serving our traditional Marzen-style lager on draft at the taproom for the past two years, and each year we have received rave reviews,” said Ian Betti, Event Director at Grind City Brewing. “With our new packaging, we are finally able to distribute it in cans throughout the market and in the taproom. In addition, we’ve significantly increased our production of our Oktoberfest so it can be offered on draft at local bars and restaurants.”
Betti said Memphis area Kroger stores will have Grind City’s Oktoberfest, as well as Buster’s, Cork’s and other locations.
