Wiseacre’s Beer and Music Festival to feature Lucero, Blitzen Trapper on Oct. 21

Lucero at Goner Records in 2023
Memphis alt-country/rock legends Lucero, seen here at Goner Records on Feb. 24, 2023, will headline Wiseacre’s Beer and Music Festival.

Wiseacre Brewing Co. is throwing its first Beer and Music Festival, BAM! Fest, as part of its 10th anniversary celebration.

The event will be held Saturday, Oct. 21, at Wiseacre’s original location on Broad Avenue and feature Lucero and Blitzen Trapper, among other acts.

Here’s what Wiseacre shared about the event on Facebook:

“For WISEACRE’s 10th Anniversary we are putting on our first Beer And Music (BAM) Festival which is something we’ve wanted to accomplish for a long time. We’re collaborating with our friends at Mempho Presents to put together a Memphis Centric Music Festival that stretches to far away lands. Yes Lucero are local legends headlining the event, but there are connections at every turn. Athens GA based Kuroma’s founder Hank Sullivant is a Memphis native and so is Portland OR based Blitzen Trapper’s bassist/sound guru Nathan Vanderpool. A Memphis native has worked in production with New York City based Psymon Spine on their psychedelic new wave splendor and Memphis based Dead Soldiers were the first band to play at WISEACRE back in 2013 continuing to put out great music up until now. In between acts, the Stone Crush stage will feature sets from DJ Leroy along with live acts from the Stone Crush compilation of Memphis Modern Soul like OT Sykes, Kick, and more. Lastly, BAM will feature the recently revealed Shell on Wheels Mobile Shell stage providing an amazing, historical Memphis landmark a way to show up at our festival too.”

General admission tickets are $32 plus taxes and fees, while VIP tickets are $124 plus taxes and fees. Visit Wiseacre’s website to buy tickets.
