Nashville’s Jackalope Brewing Co. has collaborated with Nashville-based hot chicken restaurant Hattie B’s on a new beer, and it’s coming to Memphis this week.
Drinking Buddy Golden Ale, 5.2% ABV, which Jackalope describes as a refreshing brew that’s “lightly malty with hints of citrus,” will be available at the Hattie B’s location in midtown starting this week.
The restaurant at 596 Cooper is hosting a happy hour on Wednesday, June 28, from 6-8 p.m. to introduce the collaboration beer. The event will feature DJs, wing and beer deals, giveaways and more.
Jackalope reports that while Drinking Buddy will be available exclusively at Hattie B’s for now, 16-ounce cans of the beer will be available locally in stores later.
