Starting this weekend, local craft breweries in Memphis are planning beer events for Valentine’s Day, ranging from beer pairings to dinners to special beer releases. Here’s a roundup of some of the events planned.
Boscos Restaurant & Brewing Co.

On Valentine’s Day, Boscos will feature a special menu with a three-course dinner for $60. More information, including the menu details and how to make reservations, is available on Boscos’ website.
Ghost River Brewing Co.

On Saturday, Feb. 11, Ghost River is celebrating “Galentine’s Day” with a night of women singer songwriters and a limited beer release.
The event at Ghost River’s S. Main taproom starts at 6 p.m., with a $10 cover at the door, which includes a 4-oz taster of Ghost River’s annual limited release Valentine’s Brew, Mike’s Chocolate Orgasm Stout, a friendship bracelet kit, and live music.
A portion of the cover will be donated to Clare’s House, a refuge for women in the North Memphis area that focuses on helping women who want help out of homelessness.
Meddlesome Brewing Company

On Saturday, Feb. 11, Meddlesome is hosting Dessert Flight, a dessert and beer pairing. For $30, attendees will get a flight of four beers paired with four desserts. There are two time slots, at 1 p.m. and 4 p.m., with 40 spots available for each. Tickets are available in the taproom, or call (901) 207-1147 to reserve your spot.
Soul & Spirits Brewery

Soul & Spirits has brought back Cupid Chocolate Stout, inspired by Sam Cooke’s song, “Cupid.” Described as “super chocolatey, rich and smooth,” Cupid Chocolate Stout is “super easy drinking, romantic or not.” It’s already available in the taproom on draft and in to-go cans for a limited time.
Wiseacre Brewing Company

On Saturday, Feb. 18, Wiseacre is hosting Flowers and Chocolate, an annual chocolate and beer pairing featuring Dinstuhl’s Fine Candy and Wiseacre beer. The event at Wiseacre’s Downtown location is sold out.
