Beers We Like: Oats McGoats Nitro from Meddlesome Brewing Co.

Cordova’s Meddlesome Brewing Co. has some great year-round beers and seasonals, from the 201 Hoplar IPA to the Burn the Witch Black Lager, which you can find on tap or in a grocery store cooler near you.

But head to Meddlesome’s taproom near Shelby Farms to check out their small-batch offerings, which can change on a weekly basis.

Oats McGoats, an oatmeal stout, was being served on nitro last weekend. Oats McGoats, weighing in at a lean 4.5% ABV, was a creamy, smooth-drinking stout, perfect for a cool January Sunday.

In addition to the great beer, Meddlesome has live music on tap each Sunday. The Sunday Songwriter Series features free music from 4 to 6 p.m. inside Meddlesome’s taproom, 7750B Trinity Road.
