Crosstown Brewing Co. is throwing a party — a Swashbuckling Soirée — to celebrate its seventh birthday on Saturday, Feb. 22.
The Midtown brewery released a new pirate-themed beer last month, the Carouser Doppelbock Lager, 8.4% ABV.
For the birthday party this weekend, Crosstown will be unveiling a limited bourbon barrel-aged version of Carouser, available only on draft at the event.
The party will start at 3 p.m., and Crosstown is urging guests to dress in pirate or island-themed gear.
Live music at the event will include The Wayback Machine at 3 p.m., followed by Relentless Breeze at 6 p.m. There will also be birthday cake, plus food and drink specials.
