Popular Asheville craft brewery Burial Beer Co. has added distribution in Memphis, capping its statewide expansion into Tennessee.
The North Carolina beers started flowing in Memphis in July through Advintage Distributing, which also handles distribution here for breweries such as Nashville’s Living Waters Brewing and Charleston’s Edmund’s Oast Brewing Co.
Burial, founded in 2013, brews some really great hoppy and dark beers, many of which have long, distinctive names. Example: Thirty Years of Confounding Outrage And Haunting Disbelief For A Victory That Was Neverthere.
The brewery has a current annual production of about 12,000 barrels and is now distributing to all of North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee through Advintage.
Burial’s Tennessee launch started in Knoxville, followed by Chattanooga, Nashville and then Memphis.
