Hoochie Coochie IPA, Soul & Spirits Brewery’s top-selling beer, is the 2024 winner of the Memphis Flyer Beer Bracket Challenge.
Dank, citrusy, and bitter, Hoochie Coochie, 7.1% ABV, is the latest Memphis-brewed IPA to win the Flyer’s top beer award. Ghost River Gold won in 2017, but IPAs have dominated with voters ever since.
To celebrate the win, Soul & Spirits is throwing a Hoochie Coochie Party, Thursday, May 9, and Friday, May 10.
Pints of Hoochie Coochie are on sale in Soul & Spirits’ taproom for $5. Meanwhile, 4-packs of 16-oz. cans or 6-packs of 12-oz. cans are just $7.77 if purchased, to go, in the taproom. There’s a limit of one case per person.
Also happening this weekend is Soul & Spirits’ 3rd Annual Manes on Main Festival on Saturday, May 11, featuring the release of What a Mane Smoked Festbier, a beard and hair competition, and more.
