Soul & Spirits Brewery is hosting Kölsch Night, a ticketed event featuring a traditional Kölsch service, on Wednesday, Aug. 30.
Kölsch is a style of beer that originated in Cologne, Germany. Kölsch is light in color and malt character, with a touch of fruitiness and spice, and a crisp finish.
From 6 to 9 p.m., Soul & Spirits will be serving its Kitchen Kölsch in the appropriate serving glass, a Stange, which is a tall, thin glass. The beers will be served directly to you at your table all night in a beer tray known as a Kranz.
Tickets are $75 and include unlimited Köslch, food, commemorative 4-pack and take-home glass.
Tickets are only being sold in Soul & Spirits’ taproom, 845 N. Main, in Downtown Memphis. The last day to purchase tickets is Sunday, August 27.
The event is limited to 100 people.
