Meddlesome Brewing Co. is goin’ to Jackson.

The Cordova craft brewery is sending its beers to additional counties in West Tennessee through a distribution agreement with Jackson, Tenn.-based Central Distributors. Central is an Anheuser-Busch distributor and covers Chester, Decatur, Fayette, Haywood, Hardeman, Henderson, Madison and McNairy counties, and half of Hardin County.

“This is huge for us. Any expansion outside of Shelby County is massive,” said Meddlesome co-founder Richie EsQuivel.

“We never thought it would be something that’s feasible, but we have a great team that busts their ass to help make this possible.”

EsQuivel said Meddlesome will be sending its core beers, Memphis Style Lager and 201 Hoplar IPA, seasonal beers and one specialty, to Jackson’s Madison County, the Pickwick Lake area and other places.

“We’ve been looking at northwest Tennessee as an area we wanted to expand to since the beginning. Ben has roots in that area because of Rock’n Dough. Those counties are small and manageable for our little brewery,” he said.

EsQuivel said Meddlesome’s distribution footprint now covers now all of Shelby County, Jackson, Tenn., and other areas of West Tennessee, plus North Mississippi, from the Tennessee border to Oxford, and from Arkansas to Alabama.

Meddlesome’s brewery and taproom is located at 7750B Trinity Road.
